AGBAZILO IS RICH IN DIVERSITY, TALENT & POTENTIALS SAYS HON. OKOJIE AS HE HOST CONSTITUENTS TO AN ENJOYABLE THANKSGIVING CEREMONY
The lawmaker reassure constituents of total commitment to Human Capital Development.
Hon. Prince Odianosen Okojie, has reassured the good people of Agbazilo of his total commitment to building human capacity; employment creation; infrastructural development which forms part of of his agenda.
The Lawmaker made this known on Sunday, the13th of August 2023, when he played hosted to constituents, members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as well as well-wishers in a thanksgiving service and reception held in Uromi, the administrative headquarter of Esan North East Local Government Area of Edo State.
The event witnessed a large turn out of eminent personalities with a thanksgiving service held at The Christ Chosen Church of God, Uromi, where Hon. Okojie; his wife, Mrs. Mercy Johnson Okojie and the entire Okojie’s family expressed gratitude to God for the victory clinched at the poll and his appointment as Chairman House Committee on Petroleum Resources (Midstream) in the 10th House of Representatives.
Guests were treated to an enjoyable and hospitable reception at the Uromi Public Field. The reception was laced with various entertaining activities such as musical performances from the famous Adviser Nowamagbe along with other musicians, cultural displays, speeches from APC party leaders, traditional rulers, community stakeholders and a host of others.
In his address, Hon. Prince Odianosen Henry Okojie, member representing Esan North East/Esan South East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, thanked all constituents and supporters for their unwavering support and trust in him during the electioneering period. He expressed his commitment to the growth and development of Agbazillo promising to prioritize the needs of constituents and work tirelessly to ensure proper delivery of democratic dividends.
Part of his speech reads; “I sincerely want to express my heartfelt appreciation to the entire body of Christ for their steadfast prayers and encouragement. My priority is to provide a responsive, responsible and a quality representation that is people driven, create job employment opportunities for teeming employable youths, women and men, putting in place the right policies and impactful initiatives and programmes for the betterment of our people”.
“As we embark on this new phase of our collective journey, I humbly ask for your continued support and partnership. Our constituency is rich in diversity, talent, and potential, and I am committed to working tirelessly to ensure that these qualities are harnessed for the betterment of all. With your support, we can tackle the challenges ahead and create a future that is bright and promising for every individual in our constituency”.
The lawmaker further appealed to the people to stay united and to work hand in hand with faith and determination, towards building a stronger, more prosperous Esan North East / Esan South East Federal Constituency that everyone can be proud of.
The event captured the attendance of high profile dignitaries which include; present and past Members of the House of Representatives (Hon. Friday Itulah, Hon. Sergius Ogun and others); prominent traditional rulers led by the Ojuromi of Uromi Kingdom, HRM Anslem Edenojie (II) along with other Enijies in Agbazillo; party leaders of the All Progressives Congress from the National, State and Local Government led by the Edo State APC Chairman Col. David Imuse Rtd; religious leaders, other political parties’ faithful, and notable personalities from far and near.
The guests praised Hon. Okojie for his outstanding leadership qualities as they pledged their continued support for his vision and aspirations for the good and progressiveness of the Federal constituency.
The event was a huge success, as it provided an opportunity for Hon. Princs Okojie to interact with his constituents and strengthen the bond between him and the people he represents in the Federal Constituency.
