The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 10 of Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State has suspended Hon Vitalis Eshokene and the ward secretary, Mr Henry Ekpemorir, over allegations of financial impropriety during the 2023 presidential election.
The allegations were levied against the duo by party members in the ward who accused them of misappropriating funds meant for the election.
The suspension was effected after a meeting of the ward executive held on Wednesday, where the decision was taken. The ward chairman, Mr John Edethe, said the suspension commerce with immediate effect.
