Fuel Subsidy: The N63 Billion Meant for Buhari, Osinbajo Must Be Placed On Hold – Omokri

Reno Omokri, a political analyst, has made some demands of President Bola Tinubu’s federal government in the aftermath of the removal of fuel subsidies.

Omokri stated that the removal of subsidies was part of the manifesto of the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

He insisted, however, that civil servant salaries be increased and that the Central Bank of Nigeria’s multiple exchange rates be discontinued.

Omokri also urged the government to provide palliatives to Nigeria’s poorest citizens.

The former presidential candidate demanded that the 63 billion severance package intended for Buhari and his former vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, be halted until the aforementioned conditions are met
