What this means is that the CJN should tell the residents of FCT how and why a person whom they didn’t vote for should be the one to govern them.
Following the fact that the FCT doesn’t have a governor, but a Minister of FCT who is not elected via an election but via a direct appointment by the president. This inversely means that they would be discriminated upon if they are to be governed by a man they did not give their mandate to.
Conclusively, the draftsman of the CFRN was very certain and brilliant in his wisdom to have stated in section 134 that to govern Nigeria, one must have 25% of lawful votes cast in at least 24 of the states AND THE FCT
