33-year-old lady Olufunmilayo Erioluwa, whose photograph went viral in may 2023, has denied assaulting a policeman.

It would be recalled that Erioluwa was captured in a controversial image as she was seen grabbing the uniform of a police officer in Lagos state.

Speaking to Punch paper after spending 44 days inside custodian center, Erioluwa claimed that it was the Policeman that assaulted her.

According to her, she got herself involved with the police following a misunderstanding with her neighbor. She said, her neighbor used the police to intimidate her.

According to her, on the day of the incident, the officer slapped her and dragged her. She said she only tried to stop the officer from further exposing her breast when the photo was taken.

“I told him that I was not going anywhere with him. The next thing, he slapped me, grabbed my clothes, and started dragging me, pressing my breasts in the process” She told Punch paper.
