Wike:When I saw one of the flyovers I built, I had to come down from my car to look at it again
At a press conference, Nyesom Wike, the former governor of Rivers State, stated, “I had to come down from my car when I saw one of the flyovers I commissioned before leaving office.” My only concern right now is that I believe the current governor will be decisive.
In his words: “Our people don’t like good things.
I passed one of the flyovers days ago, where we use barbed wire to fence so that people will not start trading there. People are now cutting that barbed wire. The government spends money to beautify and develop a city, and some groups of people are now destroying it.
I couldn’t believe what I saw. You mean human beings can do this? So I called the governor and told him what I saw. He said that he had seen it and that he would do something about it.
